Mr. Beguelin attended Reno area schools and graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He then attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA and was awarded the Juris Doctorate in 1989. He earned the Dean's List for academic distinction in the fall of 1988.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Beguelin returned to Nevada and accepted a position with the office of the Nevada Attorney General, representing and defending various State agencies before Administrative Courts, District Courts and the Nevada Supreme Court.

In 1991, Mr. Beguelin left the Attorney General's Office and opened a private practice with a focus on Domestic Relations, Bankruptcy, Criminal Defense and Collections matters. He successfully practices before all Municipal, Justice, Administrative, Federal and State District Courts.

Mr. Beguelin's personal interests include fighting for continued public access to public lands for lawful recreation.  He is also a board member for the non-profit Friends Of Black Rock/High Rock.   Mark enjoys camping, hiking, exploring ghost towns and all motor sports. He also enjoys metal fabrication/welding, working on 4x4 vehicles and is an avid reader of modern history.
